Description

During the basic fire-fighting course, attendees will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage and extinguish fires in the home and/or office.

Increased knowledge of how to handle a fire in the correct and safe manner will improve attendees’ ability to handle an emergency situation.

The certificate will remain valid for 1 year after successful completion.

In order to be accepted onto this course, attendees have to meet the following requirements:

    • Ability to read, write and understand English.

In order to pass this course attendees will have to:

Demonstrate their skill in performing basic fire-fighting techniques.

Students will also be expected to pass a short theory assessment to demonstrate their understanding of the basic concepts appropriate to Basic Fire Fighting.
